RBA
Weekly Assembly
Sundays at 10:00 AM
720 North Main Street,
Republic, MO
Gathering Together
Our weekly assembly is a community gathering. We have adopted certain practices to create a familial atmosphere at our community gatherings.
Family Together
Children are a blessing and a responsibility; we want to help parents raise their children in the faith. If you believe it is best, we dismiss children aged 1-5 after announcements for age-specific teaching from The Biggest Story curriculum and bring them back before communion. If you prefer to keep your children during the sermon, you are more than welcome to. Do not worry about any disruptions they may cause. We want to serve parents and create an environment where everyone belongs, whether children, parents, singles, seniors, or any other demographic.
Eating Together
We share a meal every week after the worship service because we believe this is one of the best ways to fellowship with one another. You are welcome to join us to eat and fellowship. Please do not feel pressured to bring anything to lunch except yourself.
Worshipping Together
Our weekly assembly is a worship service. We have adopted a formal liturgy to establish our worship services on Christian history and tradition.
Reading Together
We feature readings the Psalms, the Old Testament, the Gospels, and the Epistles to comprehend the whole counsel of God.
Praying Together
We invite members to offer spontaneous and prepared prayers to cultivate a dependence on God for all our needs.
Praying Together
We sing a mixture of historical hymns and modern songs to glorify God through congregational singing.
Learning Together
We preach through whole books of the Bible to learn from God by explaining Scripture in its proper context.
Confessing Together
We provide for personal confession before offering a corporate prayer of confession to encourage repentance before God.
Communion Together
We partake in communion to commemorate Christ's sacrifice, to participate in his body and blood, and to anticipate his return.
Prayer Meeting
Sundays at 6:30 PM
104 North Oakwood Avenue,
Republic, MO
Gathering Together
Our prayer meeting is an informal gathering. It is hosted in the home of our pastor and his family. There is space for everyone and plenty of toys for your children. If there is anything you need, just ask. You are welcome to stay after the prayers for fellowship and the occasional dessert.
Praying Together
Our prayer meeting is devoted to praying for and with one another. Prayer is the chief expression our dependence on God. Do not worry if you feel uncomfortable praying or do not know how. Nobody is going to judge you. Even the apostles had to learn how to pray.
Bible Study
Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
1983 South Farm Road 69,
Republic, MO
Gathering Together
Our Bible study is another community gathering. A member hosts us for dinner which is served at 6:30 PM. This is an opportunity to unwind and enjoy fellowship with other believers so as to build up the body of Christ. Please note that there we do not provide childcare during our Bible study. Our hosts provide children's books and toys and our children usually play, read, and color quietly at our feet in the living room or around the table in the dining room.
Studying Together
Our Bible study is a learning environment. We study Scripture conversationally beginning at 7:30. Do not be afraid to comment on the text as we work through it. This is the best way for you and others to learn. You can expect us to typically conclude between 8:30-8:45 PM, though we sometimes finish as late as 9:00 PM. You are welcome to stick around afterward to clean and talk.
